but, i like the way the game plays and would like to see it stay alive despite ea pushing new games that make you have to buy new video cards, ccomputers, etc. it seems so unnecessary. updated rosters for 2004 would continue to be a great thing. i'd update myself if i could, but i'm more a liberal arts guy than a programmer :cry:

I am sorry but no, unlike NBA Live 2000, maintaining a roster update with NBA Live 2004 is really a burden, too many things spoil the pleasure of updating (User Interface, 200 players limitation... I could go on for hours if I wanted to). So I will focus on NBA Live 2000, because it's still a pleasure to update, but will give up NBA Live 2004 as I no longer have fun doing it.

Feel free to take the latest NLSC roster update and continue maintaining it. We will happily host it

I would be willing to start one. The rating system from 04 to 06 hasn't changed. It'd be simple to use DB commander and sections from a 06 dbf file to a 04 dbf file. It would just be time consuming and tedious. Which is why there should be a Live 2004 editing team.

The gameplay in Live 2004 is by far the greatest, in my opinion. I'd be willing to make an effort.

anyone up for continuing the roster updates for nba 2004? thats one way to respond to EAs poor entry for 2007. resurrect the old one, and show EA how their game used to be.
