Controlling Double Teaming

Postby bullsfan009 on Thu Dec 29, 2005 11:57 pm

Why does the CPU double-team EVERY TIME when I post up? Why can't I get 5 seconds of 1-on-1 in the post to make a move? Is there any way to limit or stop this???

The only way is to pass down low and as fast as you can, back down then they can't double team and will just stand there.

Thanks, Sac-1. I also found out that you can go to the CPU's defensive matchups screen, and put Double Team to No (or Never, I forget). But this makes it the other extreme- they never double team down low. I have to decide which is better...

thanks for your help (Y)

Ya, the CPU does that, even if you're posting up with Earl Boykins. You just have to live with it. It's one of those things that you get used to after a while and never really notice again until someone new to the game comments on it.

u can use the double team to ur favor. pass the ball down low and when ur player get the double team pass the ball to an open player in the ouside and drain a 3pt or a long 2. theres usually the SG or the SF open when CPU does double team.
