Great job alexboom! (Y) Sorry I haven't posted any new suggestions, but I've been away for the holidays.

WARRIORS
-Troy Murphy has hit about 0.5 3pt shots per game so far, at 45.2% Raise his 3pt rating from its current low value of 21.

KINGS
-Chris Webber should be given an overall boost so that he's closer to his original high ratings. He's been playing much better lately.

LAKERS
-Vlade Divac's hardiness rating should be decreased even more. He's been injured pretty much the entire season, and has played only a few minutes in a handful of games. He's even considering early retirement.
-Raise Brian Cook's 3pt rating even more to at least the high 60's. He can hit the 3pt shot with regularity, and has a very good percentage so far. 55 is too low for him.
-Kobe is averaging over 7.3 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 1.19 blocks. Increase his defensive rebounding, passing, and blocking ratings.

NUGGETS
-Head coach John Bzdelik has been fired. Create Michael Cooper to replace him.

ROCKETS
-Increase Tracy McGrady's blocking rating. He's averaging over a block per game.
-Tyronne Lue was traded to the Hawks for Jon Barry.
-Jim Jackson and Bostjan Nachbar were traded to the Hornets for David Wesley.

HORNETS
-Bostjan Nachbar has shot about 47% from behind the 3pt arc so far, although his overall FG% remains low. Give him a big boost in 3pt rating.
-Garcia and Baxter have been cut.

NETS
-Jason Kidd and Vince Carter's should be given big overall decreases in their ratings. Both of them have been injured and haven't been performing at an All-Star level this season.

SONICS
-Rashard Lewis is averaging 48.7% from the field and 41.3% from behind the 3pt arc. Raise his FG and 3pt ratings.
-Raise Reggie Evans and Danny Fortson's rebounding ratings even more. Both are top 5 in the league in rebounds per 48 minutes.

KNICKS
-Nazr Mohammed deserves slight inside scoring and rebounding boosts. He's among the league league leaders in both FG% and rebounds per 48 minutes.
-Allan Houston deserves huge decreases in his stamina and hardiness ratings. He currently has a 90 in both, although he's averaged a mere 21.6 mpg in only 10 games so far in this season.

SIXERS
-Samuel Dalembert is athletic. His quickness (46) and speed (40) ratings are too low.

WIZARDS
-Brendan Haywood is averaging 9.6 ppg on 0.559 FG%, 3.3 orpg, 4 drpg, 0.91 spg, and 2.09 bpg. This is a big improvement over last seasons 7 ppg on 0.515 FG%, 2.4 orpg, 2.6 drpg, 0.42 spg, and 1.3 bpg. Give him an overall boost.
-Larry Hughes is averaging 5 apg, a big improvement over last season's 2.4 apg. However, his 3pt shooting has dropped to 26.9% this season, down from last season's 34.1%.
-Antawn Jamison is averaging 8.7 rpg, although this increase may in part be the result of his return to a starting role and the Wizard's run-and-gun style. Increase his rebounding ratings.

HEAT
-Shaq's FT shooting has gotten even worse. He's averaging about 45% from the line.

JAZZ
-Carlos Boozer's almost averaging 20 ppg. Increase his inside scoring.

HEAT
-Dwyane Wade is averaging over 1 bpg. Increase his block rating.
-Eddie Jone's scoring and percentages have gone down from last year. Give him an overall decrease in ratings.

Hey Alexboom, are you going to make another patch? I know there haven't been any posts in this forum for a couple of weeks, but quite a few people contributed suggestions for the last patch, and 7665 people downloaded it. And as you can see from my last few posts and this one, there's plenty of material for a new patch. A lot of guys would really appreciate another patch.

Here's a few more suggestions if you're going to make another patch:

TIMBERWOLVES
-Sam Cassell deserves a big overall decrease. His performance this season is a big decline from last season, when he was a 20 ppg, .5 FG%, 7+ apg player.
-Latrell Sprewell also deserves a big overall decrease.

SUNS
-Amare is #2 in the league in dunks per game. He's only trailing Shaq by a small number, and there's a huge gap between the two of them and the rest of the league. I think he deserves a better dunk rating than 85.

PISTONS
-Rasheed Wallace deserves a small overall decrease. He's doing worse in every stat category except rebounds, and the Pistons aren't doing well.

RAPTORS
-Donyell Marshall deserves a big overall decrease. His stats are WAY down across the board from last season. Currently, he's rated extremely high for a non All-Star at 70.

ROCKETS
-Give Juwan Howard a scoring decrease. He's rated very high for a non All-Star at 69. That's probably because he's always scored a lot, but that was always on horrible teams. This year, however, his numbers are way down. His minutes have been cut by about 40% (this probably warrants a big stamina decrease so the computer doesn't play him 30+ mpg), but his ppg decrease is even greater than the expected proportional drop.

NETS
-Don't decrease Vince Carter's numbers as much as I suggested earlier. In his 9 games with NJ so far, he's averaging numbers worthy of an All-Star. He's publically admitted that he wasn't trying in Toronto, and it looks like he was telling the truth.
-Nenad Kristic deserves an overall boost. He's starting games now (I know, this is only because the Nets suck so much now), and his stats per 48 minutes aren't bad. He may not be a great player, but he deserves better than an overall rating of 45.

ALL-STARS
-If you are making a new patch, and you don't think it will come out before February 20, then new East and West All-Star teams should be made. Keep in mind that every player's stamina should be decreased (just follow the example of the existing All-Stars) so that everyone gets minutes.

LEGENDS
-I was looking at some old players like Jordan, Pippen, etc., and I noticed that most of them had really horrible rebounding ratings compared to current stars like Kobe and T-Mac. I can believe that for the 50s-70s, but superstars in the 80s-90s were probably no less athletic than the ones we have today. I know these extra teams aren't a priority, but please take a look at them if you have the time.

SALARIES
-Every player's contract is outdated by a year. That means that most people should have their remaining contract length shortened by 1 year, and that players with new contracts are still going by their old ones. Please update this is you have the chance. I know this sounds trivial, but it can have a big impact on Dynasty mode. For example, franchise players that have recently been locked up for the long-term in real life (like Kobe) are still turning FA after a single season. Old players that have recently signed on for the smaller salaries that they deserve (Vlade) still have their monster contracts from last season. You can get current contract information at sites like Hoopshype.com.

I think Matt Bonner of the Raptors overall ratings should be upgraded to a more respectable level the same goes for Nenad Kristic of the Nets like JimRaynor55 has already stated. (Y)

Hey alexboom, can you take a look at all the rookies? Pretty much all of their ratings were made by guessing, since they were created before the season started. Now that the season's almost half over, we have some actual stats and an idea of what they're actually capable of.

Yesterday, I was playing with last season's rosters (Final and opening day), and I noticed that all the coaches were changed to the current coaches. For example, Rudy T. was the coach of the Lakers instead of Phil Jackson. Can you change them back?

Err, if I'm not mistaken, the coach.dbf file, that stores everything related to... coaches (name, height, team they coach...) is stored in the currentdb folder, which is independent from the save slot. So if you want to put original coaches, you have to get the coach.dbf file from your CD and copy it in the currentdb folder. I'm sorry, but it's one of the limitations of the game I can't overcome. :(
