Is there a way to make the cpu to sign free agents for more than 1 year?

Unfortunately there are a few bugs with the offseason tasks, one of which is that the CPU leaves high profile free agents unsigned or signs them to minimum deals for only one season. This is a problem with the game rather than the roster patch, so there's nothing really I can fix or modifications I can make to counteract the bug.

My only suggestion would be to edit your Dynasty and change the length of the contract yourself as you see fit.
