Unfortunately I don't have time to help you out by editing the file myself, but I've replied to your PM with some instructions. (Y)

well all you have to do is change the teamID and ROSTERPOS for each of those players. For the teamID # ... just look at the teams.dbf file. For example, houston rockets havea teamID of 10.

But the ROSTERPOS is where it gets complicated.
I would suggest that you write down what you're going to do before you actually make changes. For example, let's say wanted to trade Antawn Jamison for Jerry Stackhouse. Jerry Stackhous is a SG (i think) so his ROSTERPOS value is a "3". And Antawn Jamison is a SF so his ROSTERPOS value when he was in Dallas was probably "5" because he came off the bench. What you should do is open up LIVE and go to Reorder Rosters. Note down all the players from each team that is involved.

Here's how it goes for ROSTERPOS values:

0 - Starting C
1 - Starting PF
2 - Starting SF
3 - Starting SG
4 - Starting PG

5 - 11 ... Active Bench

12 - 15 ... injured reserve

So when you trade Jerry Stackhouse for Jamison ... you would have to change Stackhouse's ROSTERPOS to '5' because he's probably coming off the bench. The reason you input '5' is because Jamison used to have that number.

Then you note the ROSTERPOS value ('2') of the player who used to play starting SF for the Wizards. Then you assign that value to Jamison (that makes him the starting SF). Then you have to find a SG in the bench and give him a value of '3' to fill in what Stackhouse used to occupy. And then, give the value of that bench player you just moved to SG to the previous starting SF.

And basically this is what you have to do. If you have more players involved in trades, it gets more complicated. That's why you should write down what you're going to do first. I hope this helped.
