Are there any that add any names? Like, when I was the Bulls. Steve Kerr was anounced as #25.

There aren't any commentary patches, but some players are still called by their correct names by the PA Announcer if you modify their PLAYERID. For example, if you create Charles Barkley and change his PLAYERID to the ID he used in NBA Live 2001 (the last Live he appeared in), the PA Announcer should refer to him as Charles Barkley, and his career stats will be available in the View Player screen.

743 - 80s All-Stars
846 - Legends Pool
Also, you can use 53 (his ID from 2000, for the regular rosters).

How can I find out their IDs in previous games?

If you have the older games, you can open up the players.dbf file with DB Commander and check the PLAYERID column.

andrew, do you know if they have all or most of the speeches from the previous games?? are you going to incorporate it into the 95/96 season rosters??

Yes, I've been changing the PLAYERIDs in the 95/96 patch. Not all players still have traces of audio in the game, but nearly all of them still have their career stats in career.dbf.

I just hate it when the announcers say #23 everytime.

Reinstalling the game generally fixes that problem.
