Quick question about dynasty..

Postby scj on Tue Jun 22, 2004 2:50 pm

Hi, I just started playing (got the game for PC yesterday) and I really am enjoying it. However, I noticed that in the 1st year of dynasty, all the elit guards average the usual amound of points (23-29 ppg), but in the 2nd year, ALL of them (Kobe, TMac, Pierce, Iverson, EVERYBODY) have huge drops in their scoring average (around 15ppg)..

My question is, am I the only one having this problem? Is there a way to fix this? I'm a huge stat junkie when it comes to dynasty mode :D . BTW, I'm using Andrew's 1.07 roster patch if that helps.

It's a problem with NBA Live 2004's simulation engine. One possible cause is the lowered Primacy ratings in the second season. Since you're using the PC version, you could edit the players with the Live 2003 Toolkit (it works with Live 2004) or DB Commander, restoring their Primacy ratings to their previous level.

Thanks for answering. I guess that's what I'll have to do. :?
Is there a reason why their primacy ratings go down though? The big men ppg always stay around the same place. :?

Basically just a flaw in the simulation/player development engine.
