NEED HELP!!!!

ok when i dl a patch it says extract to the main folder for nba live 2004 i do that then it says run the bat. file an i do that but when i run the game it isnt even there can someone tell me what i am doin wrong?

Which patch are you installing? Are there any other additional notes or instructions?
