Game crashes before startup

Postby Ruff Ryder on Mon Jun 21, 2004 10:18 am

My game just all of a sudden won't start up. :( The NBA Live 2004 screen with VC comes up for like 10 seconds, then it acts normal and as soon as the screen goes black to load the game, it crashes!

It worked perfectly fine last night but just now started. I reset my pc, reinstalled the game, and even tried a no-cd patch(don't ask for it) but it still crashes. The only patches I've installed lately are the memphis grizz jersey patches and the new memphis court.

Okay, I've contact EA technical support and still can't get it to run. I have uninstalled it, reinstalled it, manually uninstalled everything, reinstalled it again, downloaded new drivers, checked for windows updates, and downloaded a different version of directx 9. No solution yet. They said it probably has something to do with my approximate total memory, because it says N/A.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem...

No, I did that. I updated the monitor drivers too.

Maybe that is what he did...I don't know. I did it before him though.
