Players missing

Postby cgary on Sat Jun 19, 2004 1:59 pm

When I start a new dynasty I find the certain players are missing from the roster. When I play a regular season or exhibition all the players are there. Does anybody know what the problem is?

Which players are missing? Are the same players always missing?

Yes. For example when I start a Dynasty with Detroit Ben Wallace and Darvin Ham are always missing. Then I try with other teams and players are missing from their roster. When I try to check the roster a message pops up that say there is a 5 starter limit. This only happens in Dynasty mode.

Did you do any DBF editing previously?

Yes I did but I didn't mess with any rosters. I just changed the cost of the dynasty extras and the training.

Strange. That kind of problem usually only occurs when there is a problem with players.dbf. Try restoring the original training and Dynasty Extras dbf files and see if the problem still exists.

I have an idea. Start your dynasty and then save it. Exit out and replace the dynasty players.dbf with Andrew's original players.dbf. See if that works.
