n00b question

[VMS]

When I start a dynasty, it shows a magazine with some random top player on it like kobe, kg, kidd, etc. below it is an option that says CLOSE MAGAZINE. Is there a way to open it? Or is that the extent of the magazine, only being able to see the cover.
