???Where in the world is the School names dbf???

Needing Help, please! Does anybody know the filename so you can edit the actual names of the schools/universities? I seriously looked all over my files on my hard drive for over an hour and a half and couldn't find it. I found schools.dbf obviously in the saves folder but that only has the schoolid and freq rating?

Anybody have any suggestions? Any help would be…helpful!

there is not dbf for the school names... they're all stored in the xlocale.eng in your loc folder... you have to hexedit the names and its a pain in the ass.... i tried doing that for our college mod changing the schools to our local high school and i just gave up coz of some bugs and some names just don't fit... if there is an easier way i would like to know...

Thanks Null17 for the tip…so I guess the next question is…does anybody here know how to edit this xlocale.eng file effectively as not to make the entire game go haywire?

u just use the same concept u use when u edit the name of the songs... the problem really is the length of the names... and i seem to see a few school names that can't be edited. the names are arranged alpahbetically and i changed em one by one but there are some names the i didn't find in the xlocale.eng that appear in the game...
