I have one question.
A few days ago I started a new dynasty. I decided to play to play with a quarter length of 12 minutes. So, that I can use my bench and that all players show a realistical sing of fatigue.
In the older version of NBA Live there was the opportunity to save the game, lets say at halftime and finish the game later.
Can I do this with the 2004 version, also? Is there any patch available which fix this problem or is there a way I don´t know to save during playing a game.
I hope somebode can help me.

Nah sorry dude, they havent had that feature for a few years. Bloody good feature too

Crucial feature, but hasn't made it back into the newer lives after 2000. I wish EA would add that back--I would love to play 12 minute quarters--but I can't. But if I could save and come back to it--it'd be easier.

Aah, the beloved in game save feature.
They always come up with new stuff year after year, but...in place of the new stuff, they remove old stuff. Don't ask me why.
In game saves were the best, you could just save it once you're annoying/nagging older sister decided she needed the PC. Now days, pfff.
I don't think it will make a come back this year either. EA knows how much the Live fans loved this feature, if it were in the game this year, they would have mentioned it because it's not really revolutionary, yet it would attract attention.
Oh well, we can always pray for it next year.
