INTENTIONAL FOUL MISSING IN PC VERSION??

Postby aleppin on Thu Apr 22, 2004 3:51 am

Can anybody tell me how to call intentional foul in the PC version?
I know in the PS2 you just have to press "select" but that is missing in the PC version.
I'm sick of loosing games 'cause the CPU team uses up the clock and my freaking teammates just don't go for the foul!

Thanks anyone!!!!

U have to use the "Playcalling" Button. While in defense, this leads to an intentional foul.

Thanks for the reply. However, in the "Configure controler" window the option of "intentional foul" is not available.
Regarding the "playcalling", the defensive plays include 2-3 zone, man to man, etc. but not "Intentional foul".
Am I doing something wrong???

I find it amazing you haven't found it by accident. I screw-up once or twice a game when I call a play too fast, I end-up tapping the playcall button instead of holding it long enough, and end-up with an intentional foul.

Yeah, I miss the handcheck button sometimes. Although the ability to call for an intentional foul by tapping the Playcalling button is handy, the handcheck button was useful when you wanted to prevent a basket with a foul.

To tell you the truth, i didn't even had it configured. I use 1,2,3,4 for set plays. Is the playcalling button of any other use?
Other annoying thing is that when you tap the shot button to fake the shot and there is contact with the defender, it shots anyway a lawsy shot that hardly ever goes in.

On offense, it can be used to call a timeout without pausing the game.

Miss the handcheck button, too. It was awesome for when I was a really PO'd by the computer making some impossible play... helped let out some agression. :D

Shot faking with contact is broken, yes. It drives me nuts.

I'd turn off fouls and just push people with the hand check button
