Any Way to Change Playoff Opponents in Season Mode?

Wondering if there is anyway to change playoff opponents in season mode? I'd like to play along with the playoffs in my season, but since the records were a little different in my season, the playoff opponents aren't the same as the actual playoff opponents.

I could just run a separate playoff I suppose, but I'd like to continue my season as accurately as possible. Also, I've made so many roster changes and edits to my season file, the playoff rosters would be really bad.

Is there any way to change the opponents in the game? Are there any editors or 3rd party tools I could use to make this change to my season file outside the game? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What would the point be in playing the season?

You might be able to edit the DBF file once you reach the playoffs, but I'm guessing the changes would either not be reflected when you load the saved game, or would cause a crash. My guess is that it wouldn't work properly...and as Carmo said, it kind of defeats the purpose of playing Season Mode to establish your own rankings.

Yeah, I see what you're saying, but I like to play the games against the correct team. All the teams that made the playoffs in my season are the same teams that made the playoffs in real life. I just wanted to have the same match ups when I play. I control Milwaukee, and i wanted to play Detroit in the 1st round like in real life.

Anyway, I set up a separate Playoff and set the matchups just like they are in real life. It used the exact same rosters as my season, so it worked out fine, and I set the playoff teams just like they are in real life. Worked fine for me.
