92' Bulls - season?

Postby SteadyScene on Sun Apr 18, 2004 10:47 am

hi, I installed a roster patch that added the 92' Bulls - can I play with them in a season?

Only if you edit the DBF so that they replace on of the 29 NBA teams (the current Chicago Bulls being the most logical choice).

The easiest way would be to edit the teams.dbf file, copying the SEED, LOCATIONID, TEAMCODE, CONFERENCE, DIVISION, INSEASON and INPLAYOFF values from the current Chicago Bulls over the values of the 1992 Bulls. Also, you should switch the TEAMNUM values of both Bulls teams. Make sure you backup the files in case something goes wrong.

You have to use a DBF editing software, like "DB Commander 2000 Pro" (for example).

When you open teams.dbf with DB Commander, you will be able to edit the various rows of data. For more info on each field, check out the Teams.dbf Editing Guide.

The one in "My documents".
I suggest you not to touch to the DATABASE folder. You'd better edit the teams.DBF in SAVES\XXX (where XXX is the rosters save you want to modify).

and as Andrew said

I believe Ben's roster contains the 1992 Bulls, but I might be mistaken.

you could always just trade the 92 bulls to the real ones and play with the 92 team in a dynasty or season
