Inside shooting game is HORRIBLE!

Maybe this has been covered but the inside shooting game is HORRIBLE! Why to so many great players miss such easy shots in this game?! I fail to understand this. If I have a wide open jump shot I nail it about everytime. If I have a wide open dunk, layup or under the basket shot in general it seems to be a 50 - 50 chance AT BEST of hitting it?!

Can anyone give me any help with this? I'm totally at a loss as to why this happens!?!?

STart game, goto game modes then Individual Practice then select ur player by default its VC, then click on play game...............and PRACTICE
