Hosting Problem

Hey guys (and girls), I have a major problem, I can't host online games!!

I have Windows XP Pro and yes, I disabled the XP Firewall, but could the problem be that I am part of a Network??

I tried to host with the IP address the game says I have, although I know that's not the right one, because it's an interior Network Ip address.
I also tried to host with my actual Ip adress and it still doesn't work.

I have played some online games so far and I was always able to join, but never able to host, it's driving me crazy!

P.S. Is there anybody who would like to play against me using Direct IP?? I guess he/she would have to host though!

There's probably another firewall further up the stream, if you're "part of a network", so you're probably SOL.
