Numbers on the back of the jerseys not visible...

Hi, I have played NBA Live 2004 without problems for several months now, but recently, the numbers on the back of any player's jersey have disappeared, and in addition, the jersey darkens. I'm pretty sure I didn't mod/touch something, the most I did was go into the saves section and change some files (maybe that was the problem)? I use a GeForce 2 graphics card and I'm currently running Windows XP Home Edition. My system meets all of the requirements to run Live 2004. The problem with the jerseys happens not only in games, but also in the menu screens with one player shooting or doing a move, and when you go to the edit screen, the jersey numbers are missing too. Did I touch something?

Anyone have any suggestions or things to check/try? Any help would be appreciated, thanks a lot in advance!

So.. anyone know anything about this EA technical support is ignoring me. Has anyone ever experienced this?
