I don't think this is really a patch request... more of a patching issue or even an other topic... but I'm going to move it to patching issues because I think that's where it belongs..
Now, to answer your question, do you mean an animated GIF? If you mean just a normal gif file, you can just go file save as-> GIF in most paint programs... if you mean animated GIF, theres a good tutorial here.
