I love the new slider system, but my #1 gripe about Live 2004 is that I can't seem to find a satisfactory slider setup that rewards you for taking the open shot while penalizing you for shooting with a hand in your face.
Of course, the game tends to gravitate in this direction out of the box, but I wish to make the difference even more extreme. Ideally, neither the CPU nor myself should be able to shoot over 10% with a defender jumping right in front of the shooter.
I play on superstar, and it seems that the CPU is too often making shots with a hand in their face, while I am too often missing wide open shots. This is not so much a problemn with "big scorers", but rather with the little guys.
For example, I don't have a problem hitting open shots with my 3 best shooters, but I would like the big man or the power forward on my team to be able to hit 40% of their WIDE OPEN jumpers. Meanwhile, the CPU is hitting all kinds of trash with any player, even when I am right up on them.
Anyone know what sliders to adjust? I have tried man-to-man defense, and of course the various shooting sliders. But these alone don't seem capable of simultaneously lowering the frequency of people hitting shots with a defender in their face AND also raising the wide-open shooting percentage.
