Take Over

Hi all ive been playing my Houston Dynasty for a few weeks and loving it this weekend I was stuffing around and simming sessions to see how my players developed and I think around 2009 after winning the champion ship was asked if I would like to take over the New York Knicks for 1000 store points and I think 2000 development points so I took it and was just getting the knicks up to champions and the damn game crashed 
This happen to any one else the take over not the crash
1 more thing I had over 10000 d points and got 4th pick in the draft with the knicks so I just trained this rookie up a lot he was 74 out of the draft and all his first year then 2nd year jumped up to 84
so was thinking if you train all your rookies up in the first year will this happen all the time?

Yeah this has happend to me twice now!
I started with the Kinicks, won back to back in 4 seasons then i was offered control over the Jazz which i accepted. Then i took them to 3 championships (2 back to back) over about 6 seasons then the Magic have just offered me control!
I have just grabbed 4th pick overall but the draft was weak and he is a little dissapointing. I do have a few points avail so i will try training him up like you did.

It's the only way you can change teams in Dynasty Mode. I haven't had it happen to me yet, though I haven't simmed too far into Dynasty Mode. I usually only sim a couple of seasons to test the roster update.

in my previous Kings dinasty (i started a new one cuz of the new roster patch i got) i won 1st season but before the trade deadline i made a trade with Jazz, sent C-Vlade Divac and PF-Tony Massenburg (two old guys) for a 1st round pick assuming that jazz had the lowest record in the league..
i won the season and still got the 2nd pick overall (but draft was weak) and all i got was a 67 Overall Center 7-1 tall and 278 lbs
he looks like a horse, bull or something lol i will try to get a screenshot of him cuz i still have the season in my Saves...
after 2 seasons and several trains on him and he was my starting Center with 83 Overall... averaging huge stats for rebounds and blocks lol

yeh i find hiting a rookie with a few trainning sessions make them more likly to be come a better player
