Cannot locate CD-ROM problem

I get this window with the title "Cannot locate the CD-ROM - Please eject and re-insert the CD-ROM, select OK and restart application" when I try to start the game. It keeps happening and I usually have to restart the computer to play the game. For $40 I would like to play the game when I want Any work around for this problem?
