Create a Team

Hello guys, I just got into NBA Live 2004.
I would like to know how I can get a custom team in the game.
Any help?
I read a topic below about it but I couldn't understand much.

heres what u do:
Creat players for your team/pick players outa free agency

Go into teams.dbf, find a team which resembles the style and talent of your team and copy that row. (for example if ur team is similar to the celtics, take the row in teams.dbf and copy it to the bottom)

Rename that team to what ever you want your custom team to be named, and change the three letter abbreviation and two letter abbreviation to what ever you want (the 2 letter one is used for art files)
change the team number also to one which isnt used already. go to the locations section and change it to 30 for now....(if u dont make a court for ur team the game will crash when trying to play at that home court...)

now go into players.dbf, find the players u choose to be on ur team and change all those players team and salary team sections to what ever your teams number is.

go into teamgear.dbf and add 2-4 entries (depending on if u have practice jerseys)

go into coaches.dbf and make a coach for your team.

Now you have to know something about art. find all the .vivs which contain anything to do with courts, jerseys, and logos...

if you have jerseys, a court, and logos made for your team make sure they have the right two letter abbreviation at teh beggining (the same one as in teams.dbf)

if u dont have any of that stuff, just go back to the teams.dbf and choose an abreviation already there (like bo for boston) and u'll have thier jerseys to wear and thier logos.
