ALRIGHT...I Imported rookies from March Madness 04 to Live..

Alright....on my PS2, I imported the rookies from March Madness 04 to NBA Live 04. I have to say I am pretty dissappointed with this feature.

First up, I turned on "Players leaving early" feature on March Madness, but only seniors were sent to the draft. This may be good if you have a season on MM04 and you have some good underclassmen, but not if you are more focused on your NBA Live season. Second, I didn't name all of the seniors, but just the main ones, usually the ones rated 90 or higher or with the top teams. But either the CPU still generates a grip of college rookies, or they either give names to the ones that I didn't name.

Second thing is, the players are rated waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too high!!!! Rickey Paulding was probably a 90 somethin on MM, but he was an 86, and the 2nd draft pick....86?!?!??!?!!?? Lebron is a 69 his first year, and usually a 71 or so his 2nd year, so this kills much of the development factor. I was the 28th in the draft, and I got Blake Stepp, who I think is a 90 somethin on MM04..and he was a 72, which is still WAAY too high for a rating for a rookie that low in the draft...that would be high period if Lebron is only a 69, and Carmelo a 63 on this one. And not only that, but the CPU players either generated, or given names, are some of the highest draft picks, so it kinda pisses u off when "Jerome Bryant" is the 1st draft pick with a 87 rating. And I think at leeaaaast 25 of the top 29 draft picks ended up startin for their teams, which is extremely unrealistic. And some players who were 99s on MM04 were like 31st in the draft, such as Channing Frye, and he probably was about a 70....but one person I edited, Terrance Woods from FAMU was an 85 overall on MM04, and he was about a 73 or 72 in the draft and was like #29 in the draft, so that shows you how realistic that part is.

So basically...u can imagine how I felt, or how you would feel. I would prefer to just edit the rookies as I used to when I had Live on PC. I am sooorta happy EA decided to use this feature, but damm, if they are gonna make it, pleaaaaaase make it much more realistic!!!!!!!

lol...I go to FAMU...and the mere idea that anyone from our team might be a first-round draft pick is unrealistic enough as is.
