Stop players from throwing the ball?

How do i stop the players from throwing the ball, as in literally, because when I'm pressured even by a smaller defender, my players always use the one handed shooting, and make a dramatic fall. Does anyone get what I'm putting across? Is there any slider to change it?

Hmm... it's not adjusting when in air, but when you shoot, and the guy's pressuring you, you just sort of throw the ball. (Like in live 2003, when you get the basket plus the foul)

No, that's the kind of shot players in NBA Live 2004 attempt when they are fouled. There's no way of changing it.

But what if they're not fouled? Just simply pressured would make them do that? What about taking it up strong?

Yeah, happens to me all the time too, but I think you might have to have a very good big man or have good position to avoid it.

I don't think this is spotted in the PS2 version? I don't know too well because I played 2 players and my friend and I were driving to the basket to shoot, but I don't recall having this problem, only adjusted shots.
