Andrew, I cant get the rosters installed still

Ok heres my problem, I had a corrupted nba.exe file in my game, so I uninstalled the game and folders and reinstalled it. It loaded up fine, so i go
options to see if the default roster was there. To my suprise, no rosters were there. Went to roster management to look, and I see the default rosters. Why don't they show up in the load/save file? Anyways I tried about 5 times to install your rosters in the doc settings/preferred user/NBA
Live 2004/saves and the doc settings/all users/NBA Live 2004/saves and when I go to load them in they arent there. nothing is there. This process is very perplexing to me is there a shortcut or better way? I want your rosters not the default ones. Please help me. sorry for the long post.

Have you tried installing to My Documents\NBA Live 2004\saves? Some XP users have their saves located here - I'm not sure why.

Tried that, still didnt show up. all it says in load/save is new. No files are there. It does that for the other locations too. I'm exhausted trying to load these rosters. Never had a problem till 04. Can u give me a step by step guide how u install them? Obviously, looks like I'm the only one having trouble. Isnt there a way for the rosters to load automatically in the directory theyre suppose to go in? I saw someone had rosters that did that.

Andrew, I also tried to install the rosters in a different location then cut and paste them to each of the 3 locations they could go in. That didnt work either. Don't know that the hell is going on. I'm tired of uninstalling then reinstalling the game, and getting the same results. I also noted on your tutorial for installing rosters, it said to unzip the files to the main NBA Live directory. Is this correct? Never heard that before. I'm running XP Pro and I thought the installation was different.

That part of the FAQ needs updating. It refers to NBA Live 98-2001.

Step-by-step:

1. Locate your saves folder. Make a note of the location.
2. Run the installation for the roster patch.
3. When you are prompted to select the folder to install to, enter the location of your saves folder
4. Run NBA Live 2004, and load the rosters from the Load/Save menu.

I was about to make the same gripe about not being able to copy my files into my saves directory on XP but as you said for some reason it added it to the My Documents folder. Thanx for posting that it helped alot.
