Injury bug?

Playing exhibition mode; had a crash (sound started doing a series of clicks when I tried to return from a timeout, then everything froze and I had to hit my pc's reset button), then when I had rebooted and restarted the game, one of my players showed as "injured", which had not actually happened in-game. I quit the game and started a new one; same guy still out of the lineup when the game actually began, though he showed as OK in the starting lineups window pre-game.

Any ideas what's going on here? I even uninstalled and reinstalled, but I guess I needed to delete some files manually because my rosters were still as I had modified them before, and the same guy was still unable to play.
