Trading Players???

I was wondering if there was anyway to trade players on other teams when you are in Dynasty Mode. I know how to trade players on the team I am controlling, but what about the teams the CPU controls.

No, you can only make trades for your team.

you can edit the dbf files and make you have control over another team, there's an option in the teams.dbf the says USER and you change it to true but you can't make unfair trades just propose trades for that team.....like while i was doing my dynasty i had control over portland's trading and i could edit their rosters thats all you get.....you might be able to sign players too but not sure

Anyone had CPU trading players in dynasty mode?

I'm going through my 2nd season, and the CPU teams didn't trade players (at least it doesn't show up in "NBA News" menu), neither any team made an offer to me. CPU teams are only signing free agents.

This happened in the 1st season and is happening in the 2nd. I'm sure "modify CPU rosters" or "CPU initiated trades" (in dynasty mode only one of these options is available, I don't remember which one) is active.
