Isolation Play

Postby aznsniper on Wed Dec 10, 2003 12:23 pm

Anyone know the name of the play that the 76ers run a lot to get Iverson the ball. He comes off a screen and catches the ball a few feet inside the three point line and is isolated? I've seen a lot of great scorers use this. (Carter, T-Mac, Kobe, Pierce)

in nba live 04 or in real life? btw, in real life, the 76ers might call it Play X, while another team would call it play Z. so the name of plays really vary per playbook and team.

i dunno the play in nba live 04 where the 2 guard takes a backscreen cut and kicks out to the perimeter, but i do know that you can direct switch over to AI and move him there and then ISO him...

Stagger (used to be Hawks) often isolates SG on one side of the court but usually after a high post screen.

EA needs team specific plays and sets next year....not doubt bout it

jr

BTW Sixers used to use alot of what would be Motion sets on NBA Live
2013 is the year?
Thanks to Vl@d, Leftos and all the other patchers for their hard work.
