nba live 2004 sliders - deja vu madden

Postby yukon2k on Sat Nov 29, 2003 3:22 am

since the nba live series has gone to slider settings this year, it will probably take about 400 slider settings posts like madden to finally get the settings about right

go to maddenmania - forums - search for "baseline testing" by redwolf. go to one of the last pages (there about 26) and find "slider settings 7a by redwolf". there have been about 400-500 posts on the slider test settings and everyone came up with the redwolf's slider settings 7a as the best. these are for cpu vs cpu. you'll find others on the maddenmania forum pages

Yukon2k-

One more thing...I couldn't find any human vs. cpu slider settings for Madden...are there any good ones? I know it's the wrong forum but I'm not asking for much

techno - it looks like nba 2004 is leaning towards the same thing as madden. if so, a lot of people will do slider testing and eventually, there will be a couple that will fit the different playing styles and preferences.

try some of the slider settings in this forum and if you find one you like, keep it and use it. if you use one or two slider settings that are posted on this forum and find they're close, but just a tad off of what you like, change a couple of settings to your liking until you hit the jackpot.

everybody's tastes and preferences are different, so you'll have to find, or edit one, to your liking. i did that with madden. i didn't want as many interceptions in the game, so i set it for 1 click less than the 7a slider settings. i also like the punts to be a little shorter, so i turned down punt length a tad. like i said, find one and play with it until you like it and keep watching this forum for slider settings - it'll be like madden - hundreds of postings

pdawg - i forgot to mention in the 7a madden slider posts - all of the penalty sliders are set to 99 except - holding = 54, face mask =60, clipping =70.

these are what everbody else is using for penalty sliders. i'm finding a few too many facemask penalties and a tad too few holding penalties, so in my next playing season, i'm going to change holding to 55 or maybe even 56 and facemask to 58 or 59 - as i mentioned, set them the way you like

yukon, i replyed to ya question in the other post.
like i mentioned, i really dont like to use other sliders, like you said, everyone has different likings.

so i go for tweakin myself, and tweak them to the most realistic as possible, i dont show favorism to whats easier for me neither.
i believe 100% pure realism.
