In the "My Documents" folder find NBA Live 2004.
There is "originaldb" folder in database folder.
From there copy "nbastore.dbf" and "shoesacc.dbf" file and paste those in the temporary folder.
We start to work with these.
1. Install DB Commander from
http://www.dbcommander.com/ or use MS Exel.
2. open nbastore.dbf file from the temporary folder
3. In the "cost" column change those cost of the shoes to "0".
4. In the "category" column change numbers to "0". This make all the shoes that need code to be shown up free.
5. Exit DB commander. And copy the "nbastore.dbf" file we work with then paste it in the "originaldb" folder and ! "workingdb" folder at "My documents\NBA Live 2004\database\" folder.
Now the cost of all the shoes in the store become to 0 point.
The one tiny bug of the 2004 is that we cannot see all the shoes in the store. Even if there is a arrow button, that doesn't work. ( For example, Air Max Elite, but don't worry, there are more ways below.)
Now we work with the "shoesacc.dbf"
1. Open the shoesacc.dbf file in the temporary folder with DB Commander.
2. Find the "ISLOCKED" column and change all the false to True.
3. Exit the DB Commander, copy this file we worked with and paste it in the "originaldb" and "workingdb" folders.
And then, edit players mode, we can use all the shoes and change the appearance of the players.
Of course there is some limits of the shoes because of the contracts you know, but if you find "players. dbf" file and find shoelimit column, that's easy.
Change it to "0". We can you ADI*AS, Conver*e ets.
