Well hoorray I got screwed again

Postby maltre on Wed Nov 26, 2003 5:41 am

Finished my game vs the Pistons with my Knicks.
Won 123-122 in OT.

All my players scored.
That means 250 points, right ... WRONG !

Jamal Crawford had 21 points and 13 assists for me.
You think I got the double-double points ?
You think I got the points for 7 assists in a half ?
5 assists in one quarter?

Antonio McDyess had 21 points 15 rebounds:
You think I got the points for grabbing the 15 boards ?
You think I got the points for grabbing 10 defensively?
double-double?

Allan Houston: 38 points
You think I got the points for the 30+ points scored ?
The three 3's in the fourth quarter ?

The 7 blocks by Dikembe ?

ONE BIG FAT NO !!
125 LOUSY POINTS IS ALL I GOT !
SCREW YOU EA SPORTS, YOU'LL NEVER EVER EVER SEE ONE DOLLAR/EURO/YEN/FINGERNAIL FROM ME !!!

You know what Live 2005 needs ?
Some competition on the PC level. ESPN or whatever company ... release a PC version of you basketball games !!

That sucks, but I've never experienced such a bug. I've always received the correct amount of points for completing various tasks.

Are you sure you looked at the right team? I've looked at the wrong team before.

Same thing happens on my game. The problem didn't start until I released a player from my team to the free agent pool. Before then I always got the 250 points. So, I waited the 2 years until his contact ran out and he didn't appear on my waived points. That didn't help either. I even started a new dynasty and I still don't get the 250 when all my players score. I'm sure it's a bug. Hope there is a way to fix it.

Do you guys have all 12 players on your rosters? If you have 10 players on your rosters, and those ten score in a game doesnt mean you will get 250 points.

You have to have 12 players on your rosters and all of those 12 must score atleast a single point.

If you do have all 12 players, I cant help you. (N)

You don't get Dynasty points for tasklist things. (I think)

The immediate point I thought of (as in previous post of this link already mentioned) is that you DON'T HAVE 12 PEOPLE in your roster....

I experimented it before, only when you have 12 and everyone scores will you get the 250 points....
If ya got 11 players...sorry...
10...sorry...

Another thing is that even if you have 12 players, when you got one player who did not yet score injured, in that game you will not be able to get this 250 points...
I experienced it and annoyed me too :)

Do go back and check out if you have less than 12...

Enjoy NBALive

I have also had injured players prevent me from getting the 250 points. The only good thing about having a player get injured is if they have already scored. The computer automatically subs for the injured player but before you shoot the free throws you can change the player who comes in. You can also sub that player after the first free throw. I let two different bench players each shoot one free throw. This helps to give at least a point to those players that rarely score.
