Shooting Problems

Postby Bad_Intentions on Wed Nov 19, 2003 4:24 am

Ok, i just picked this game up a couple days and i'm having some severe shooting problems. I tried practice alot, but believe me shooting in the game and shooting in practice are 2 different worlds! I can hit all day in practice, but when other players are around in games i suck it up.

Ok, one of my big problems is that I get good shooters wide open shots and they tend to do the quick release thing like someone is about to block it. I also find alot of my shots being short. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem :(

I play with the Knicks, Houston and Van Horn shoot pretty good, but I can't make a f#é"ù$d basket with McDyess !!
If I drive, he either loses the ball or gets blocked by the rim :(
Those 15 footers -typical McDyess- are ALWAYS bricks.

What am I doing wrong ? I try releasing it on the highest point, just like in practice ...

Oh and another thing:
Shaq: 18/20 FG
Great realism EA, great realism.

Is there a post which explains "the moves" anywhere ? Can't seem to find it (I'm guessing there are numerous ways to use the crossover button)
