Turn the F around!

There's a lot that I like about this game... and a lot I don't like. Player animations really annoy me. Some are good, like the block shot, but the passing just bugs the heck outta me. IMO, the overall feel of player movements was better in 2003 (I know most ppl probably disagree with me on that). My ideal game would have to be some combination of 2003 and 2004...but then if EA made the ideal game, I suppose the Live franchise would have no point in continuing..

Anyways, can somebody please tell me how to make players face their defender! So far this has to be my biggest gripe about the game...maybe I'm missing something obvious like a face up button or something, but it's kinda hard to try to crossover your defender when your back is to him ALL the time. BTW, I'm using keyboard - yes I should get a gamepad, and I will..but for now any help would be great.

if your back is to the defender just stop moving/running and push the freestyle control to the left or right once and he'll turn around and face the defender while he semi-crosses over. But, you have to act quick or he will turn back around. That's what I've been doing... hope I helped.

One thing I liked about 2003 was running isolations and going 1-on-1. Running plays in 2004 seem so much less effective...pick-and-rolls hardly ever work...but then again I've only had the game for a day so..
