Does Live 2004 seem to have any realism?
Are the scores realistic? Or are they those inaccurate scores(like games won by 1 or 2) that stupid EA Sports has in Live 2003?
Realism is #1.
Are the Team Records realistic or does it have teams that are 78-4 and stuff like that.
If Live 2004 hasn't changed the realism from Live 2003, then it has just gone around the bush with the new features.

uh.. I think over one quarter of 5 minutes I think the score was 20-10... so I don't know.....and they sucked I hear so....

uh first, stupid EA sports? I don't see u making a whole b-ball game and alot of other b-ball games... a full game was never finished in the video

I never saw any team records so I can't answer your question.

This live looks fine for a beta...but aside from the clipping..the players slide all over the damn floor. Also, the transition between some animations seems clunky...like going from a dribble to a lay up: the player is dribbling the ball and with 0 frames between he's immediately in an animation for a layup.

The sliding will prolly be the big problem many people will have with live this year ...(cause every year there is a big problem with live)...with 2001 it was the rebounds...with 2003 it was too fast...with 2004 it just might be players that slide instead of walk.

It looks like the only way you can get to the hoop is by backing down the players?...whats up with that? In one on one mode the object should be to show the opponent up with fancy dribbles...not slow, boring backing down and lay up.

In the one on one video the players werent always backing down each other and defineatly not in the team vs. team game. What happened in the one on one game was the offensive player shielding the ball when the defensive player pressed up close on defense (which is realistic). Whenever the defensive player backed off the offensive player didnt need to shield the ball and didnt. In terms of one on one play the guys playing the game werent playing very agressively otherwise i assume there would be alot more face up moves dribbles etc. I think they were just playing to show off the game in the video. The only problem i see so far with Live is the sliding the players seem to do on the floor and the bulky look the players have. Apart from the fact that i have not seen two cpu teams play, I can only tell gameplay based on the sloppy play of some guys messing around. Theres still alot left to check out in terms of how the game plays ...different team tendencies and such, but I guess we'll only see those when we actually play the game.

Well, that was fun to see. I'm sure the player-clipping issue is one of the last things to be fixed, so I'm not worried about that. Am I the only one who noticed that the guy playing Dallas seemed to have an offence that consisted of ignoring open players and just crossing over until he could get a layup?

How big is the zip file?
maybe you've downloaded an incomplete file. That usually happens when you try to open an incomplete zip file.

cheers! :D

yea i had that problem to robit, what i did was i downloaded the DivX-codec from this site: http://www.divx.com/divx/player/index.php
when instaling, i'm pretty sure you don't have to install the player, just the drivers...

what do you mean colin?
