What should the actual dunk rating be for Jeff McInnis & also I think Keyon Dooling dunk rating should be higher too?

I've yet to download your v1.07 patch. The one I have in my Live '04 right now is the v1.05 patch. I have a problem using your updates especially with the players' salaries.

I can't make trades (among others) because the salary restricts me from doing so. Clicking on 'Trade Info', I can see the players' "real-life salary" but can't work my way around the program's default salary cap rules.

Am I doing something wrong here? I hope by the time I've installed v1.07, everything's worked out.

Thank you.

The salary cap patch must not have been installed correctly. v1.07 contains a copy of the updated salary.ini file, with manual installation instructions (see salary.txt for details).

Yes, I've updated the team's default players in teams.dbf, but they'll still show up as being the Dynamic plays when you first go to Playbook.

Can you update players headbands in the players.dbf in your next release? Some guys like McInnis, VC, Mo-Pete, etc need them.

Also can you up Ricky D's dunk rating to 93 maybe and Brons's too.

I'll certainly update the headbands, and I'll consider the ratings changes.

There is a big difference playing with the team set by myself and playing with default (i have 1.07)

Well, I did update teams.dbf according to a list of plays that were posted some time ago. I've set it so that teams run a random set, eg the Lakers' primary offense is set to random sideline triangle, so that they don't run the same sideline triangle set every time. That's probably the main difference that you're noticing.

If you're talking about classic teams, my patch doesn't contain either of those teams.

No these aren't historic rosters, but everybody I play on EA sports online has these rosters.

Hello, I have played this game online since '03 and enjoyed your roster patches. But I have a few pet peaves about defense. I play mainly online. And from a competitive standpoint I think some players are overpowered. #1 being Nowvitski, he can concievably make every shot inside and out, I have been beaten by people who use Now for 90 percent of their offense. He is just as good down low as Duncan or Shaq or Yao. This should not be. He is primarily a perimeter player. Also Mo Taylor for Houston has way to much dribbling abilty. people use him at point guard. Very unfair. Also is there a way to improve the defensive effectiveness of players. I am tired of making an effort to get my hands up on every shot only to have 6 or seven consecutive contested threes drop in a row. I also feel that TD deserves better ballhandling. Hedos threes need to be lowerd some. Devin Brown deserves better shootong and three ( around 68/65 respectively. Horry shouyld be moved up to 60ish threes maybe 70 or given more clutch ability. carmelo deserves a little better shooting and O ability now. As does Lebron. The Hawks players deserve a slight boost Stephen Jackson put up career numbers and the rookie big men are not THAT bad. Miami bench needs an overhaul. Tony Parker and Andre Miller deserve a boost In 2 pt Shooting.
