Great patch as usual Andrew. (Y)

Only mistake I've seen is that Cezary Trybanski's jersey number should be #14, as Tim Thomas already has #5. Hope you could fix that for the next patch. :)

Thanks Ranier, I've just made the change before I forget. :)

You have Anthony Johnson(pacers) as number 13, when his real number is 8.

Also I think Korver and Wilcox should be updated as well. Also, I think Dwyane Wade's dunk rating should be between a 70 and 75. And...I think you should increase Malik Allen's rating and fg range to about 18 or 20 feet because he made alot of open 19 footers in game 3. He has been big for Miami.

No problem. (Y)

I'm not sure. Right now I'm working on the 95/96 rosters, so probably not until this offseason.

I just made a post about that. When do you expect the 95/96 rosters to be done?

I would really enjoy to see the "Greatest Team ever" play on a game because Michael Jordan was never on video games back then :?

Thanks,

Right now I can't create any more players as I've hit the limit. I would like to start adding some cyberfaces for the created players before I change their ISCREATED attribute and proceed with the final 6 teams, so I can't really set a date for it.

Wed May 19, 2004 5:28 pm

Andrew, I didn't know that there were a created players limit ? Is there a way to avoid it via creating the players directly in the dbf ?

Wed May 19, 2004 5:57 pm

Oh yeah, there's a limit - 200. The easiest way is to simple change their ISCREATED attribute to False and keep going. I'd rather add the missing cyberfaces before I do that though. There's a few people working on some faces, as soon as they've finished them and emailed them I can keep going.

Yeah. Add faces for Haslem(Mikki made one), Eddie Gill (Mikki made one too.) I cant think of who else at the moment.

I've reached the limit in the 95/96 roster patch, not the current roster update.

Will do. (Y)

Andrew do you have any specific time period on when the next rosters will be released.

Sun May 23, 2004 1:34 pm

Probably at the end of the playoffs.

Fred Jones dunk and jump rating should be higher. Hes 6'2 and he won the dunk contest, you should up those ratings to 99

Sun May 23, 2004 3:07 pm

Isn't the greatest team ever the dream team?

I've already upped his ratings, though I guess I could up them a little more. I don't know about 99 though.

I just got done playing with the '92 Dream Team vs the All-NBA Team and that was the most fun I have had with Live 2004 since it came out.

Thanks Andrew for this patch, I really enjoy the updates and the new teams :D
Nice work (Y) Keep it up, please  :D

(CAPS can be found - http://html.networkeducation.org/aau/index.html )

Thanks, I'll probably add some more Legends during the offseason. Right now I'm not thinking of adding extras to the current roster update until the 95/96 patch is done.

Hey Andrew, how do you save each team's offensive strategies?
Whenever I start a new game, the offensive strategy in the playbook is "Dynamic", is it possible to keep the offensive sets for each team?

Fri May 28, 2004 7:17 pm

The updated team strategies in teams.dbf will be the Dynamic plays. If you make any changes from within the game, you unfortunately cannot save them as the default.

Salary cap in 1.05

Sat May 29, 2004 2:42 am

Andrew,

I've yet to download your v1.07 patch. The one I have in my Live '04 right now is the v1.05 patch. I have a problem using your updates especially with the players' salaries.

I can't make trades (among others) because the salary restricts me from doing so. Clicking on 'Trade Info', I can see the players' "real-life salary" but can't work my way around the program's default salary cap rules.

Am I doing something wrong here? I hope by the time I've installed v1.07, everything's worked out.

Thank you.
