does turning cpu shooting on make them shoot i havent tried it and i also dont use player lock but it could i dunno

Man, player lock stinks this year. Is there any way EA could make a patch to correct the problem of the human AI not shooting the rock?

I totally agree... I wonder as i used it, why my teammates dont take there shots, but then i figured out, that i have to control them. --> SUCKS!

Yeah, it does suck that the cpu players will stand there until the clock runs out. You guys say use the full control, but that would be like learning a whole new game. Plus I like using the one created character of mine. Thats a wish too, that you can have a career mode, where you follow the one player.
Having to control your teamates is ugly, they take bad shots and rarely make them anyway. Its a big let down.

Why do you use player lock anyway? To me, it's boring unless you have 3 or 4 people playing and they all control someone. You can use off-ball control if you want to move without the ball. I don't see why you would want to play an entire game with player lock though.

If you play with player lock control you can identify with just one player on the court. So you are a part of a team and thgerefore IN THE GAME just as in reality fullfilling a role in a team. You run, guard and play the same lanes like you used to do it in school or anywhere on the court with your friends.
If you control 5 players on the court you are in the role of the coach who has the full control of the team. All decisions on the court depends on the coach NOT the five players on the court. Thats the difference why gamers dislikes this kind of playing cuz in reality every player on the court takes decisions.
I Like both controls, missing one of them in 2004 is horrible...
