I remember playing live 2000 or 2001 and I was Vince Carter... the game was somwhat buggy, but this one play just looked awesome...

I think Davis passed to Carter on the fastbreak and as he dribbled up for the monster jam, the ball just slipped out of his hands (I think b/c someone got a hand in there), bounced off the backboard and into his waiting hands as he did a windmill... essentially, it looked like a self-pass windmill off of the backboard... I still have the replay if anyone wants to see it... it's awesome!

In NBA Live 97 (the 2nd best version ever; 2000 is the best one, I think) I played a season without simulating a game (with mouse *g*). I controlled the Warriors (Spree is my man  ) which drafted a nice PG (myself). A little bit taller then the real one, a little bit better then the real one :D I forgot the center of the Warriors in 97 but PF was Joe Smith, SF Donyell Marshall. I signed a free agent who was my shooter. Just forgot his name but his nick was A-Train... little overweighty the guy *g* The other bench-guys had been the real Warrios '97 (Bimbo Coles, BJ Armstrong for example).

Ok, I played every game myself and finished with ~ 15 points 7 assists per game (solid rookie performance ;) ). Spree was go-to-guy with ~ 25 points. In the course of the season I became really good so the playoffs weren't not the big problem. So I lost only 1 or 2 games (in playoffs) and in a game against Houston (with Clyde and Charles) Spree made 83 points

Finals!

It was a problem... Had to get a grip on myself, cause I don't want to beat Jordan, Pippen and Rodman. But I had to :D And it was a great finals thriller. Six Games: 3-3

Game Seven:
95-95 and I fouled Pippen with 20 seconds left. He went to the line, sank the first, missed the second. Rodman went up, caugt it ( - in 97 it was really easy to grab an offensive board after a free throw) and tried to score the lead for good. Went up for a layup (what a mistake!), Joe launched off, raised his arm and he gets the ball. Block by Smith! He passed to me, I ran towards the bulls zone and stopped at the arc. Set play, 12 seconds till Jordans fourth ring. Jordan played wonderful defense on Spree so the Rookie looked for Joe. But Rodman was there, no chance for the go-to-guys of the Warriors. So the Freshman decided something, Harper didn't expected. PG Brockmann drives into the Zone! Rodman stayed still close to Smith, no chance for a pass. Only Longley planned to shut down the way for an easy layup. The Rookie left the charity stripe behind him, went up for the jumpshot - Harper, Rodman and Longley now realize and launched up for the last chance - but the ball left before three hands could reach it and fall into the basket with 1.3 seconds left. 97-96, the Warriors are the new Champions!

It was so great. Especially because I played every single game, the finish was unforgetable. I had to face the legendary Bulls, I had the seventh game, I had a tie in the last minute, I made the gamewinner :) Money time in NBA Live

NBA Live 2000 Ps1

Playing my buddy, he was the Jazz I was the Pacers. He was up by 1 with seconds left, he tries a lay up with Stockton it rims out, rebound by Davis.

I had 5 seconds with no time outs. But then I see a tall white guy streaking towards the Jazz's basket! It was Rik Smits! I threw him the ball and no one was around him. I ran up and dunked it in with .1 seconds left. My God that was amazing. My friend was so pissed cause it held onto my awesome 30+ game streak I had on him.

It was NBA Live 2000 as I recall, I was playing as the Lakers and was trailing San Antonio by 4 with 30 seconds to go.

In-bounded the ball to Kobe, who ran the length of the floor, shadowed by SA defenders. He passed the ball to Fox out on the right wing before slashing to the basket. Fox pump fakes, looking to bypass the defender and move closer in for the guaranteed 2 pointer.

On the way up, his arm is hit, the ball spins free, arcs over and hits nothing but net. Fox goes to the line and cool as ice finishes the 4 point play.

There were 15 seconds left to play, the game is tied and SA had the ball. They moved it slowly up court, enduring the full court press until they get to the arc. I think it was Elliott who passed the ball into Duncan who, marked by Horry fancied his chances. He went up, the ball swept past Horry on its way to the hoop. Fortunately Shaq had moved away from Robinson and somehow managed to get a hand to the ball, knocking it to the floor. Robinson picked it up and drove to the hoop for the easy dunk.

Horry, abashed by his failed block, reached out and shoved the Admiral sending him crashing to the floor. Unfazed, he gets back to this feet and mnanages to hit 1 of 2.

8 seconds to go, SA up by one. Both teams in the penalty, most of thew players are 1 foul away from fouling out.

Pressed all the way, Fisher drags the ball up court, looking to find an open man.

5 seconds to go.

Kobe, Horry and Fox are -all- clear round or near the arc, Fisher looks for a pass...

3 seconds to go.

For reasons best know to himself, he passes to Shaq in the low post who's closely guarded by Robinson. As the ball reaches Shaq, TD leaves Horry unmarked out on the perimeter and collapses on Shaq.

1 seconds to go. Plenty of time for a pass and a shoot.

But this is Shaq. Under the hoop, a defender in front and behind him, he jumps, barging his way past two defensive first teamers and goes up for the dunk. Duncan and Robinson scatter like pins as he thunders home the one handed jam. Boom.

Lakers by 1. Game.

I didn't do this in a game, but in practice I hit a shot from the opposite end foul line.

Here's proof.

Game: NBA Live 2004
Setting: Superstar

Celtics (me) vs. Spurs

Anyways it was me vs. the Spurs and I was down by 25 in the first quarter but I made a rally in the second and cut the deficit to 10 in the 2nd and it was still 10 by the end of the third.. The Spurs were shooting 59% in the first quarter but i managed to cut it down to around 53% by the end of the 3rd.. I was containing Tim Duncan pretty well holding him to only 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists.. with 6 turnovers.. but I had problems containing Tony Parker.. (he torched me w/ 48 by the end of the 4th) .. anyways halfway through the 4th, I fouled out with Paul Pierce ( 48 pts, 11 rebs, 6 assists, 6 steals, 1 blk ) .. I had to take the game over with Ricky Davis and the game would eventually go into overtime.. Midway through overtime Ricky got injured after a midair collision with Tim Duncan but he came back a couple minutes later and tied the game up to send it to a 2nd overtime.. in the 2nd overtime he hit a clutch 3 pointer to put them up by 3.. and then blocked Tony Parker's trey at the end to secure the win.. He ended up with 41 pts, 7 rebs, 8 assists.. Good game :)

I've just played the most exciting end of game I've ever played.
It was Live 2004, Jazz (me) vs Sonics. During the game, I was always leading by 10 points more or less. In the last 3 minutes, they overcame and Seattle entered the last 40 seconds winning by 7. I decide to take out Lopez (who had 4 3 pointers) and I put Tim hardaway (Signed as a FA) as the PG for the last minute. I inbound the ball to Tim who hits a 3 pointer.
In the next posession, i foul Barry who hits the 2 FT, I lose by 6 (2 3p, i thought :D ).
Again, I inbound the ball to Hardaway, who hits another 3 pointer!!! I press the Sonics and manage to steal the ball, 10 seconds left, ball to Hardaway. He shoots but is blocked by Allen, the loose ball goes to Raja Bell far away from the line, who shoots and gets the overtime.
I finally won 118-113, with 33-11-7 from Kirilenko, my best game ever.

Ive got a couple from live 2001, me and my cuz mainly played 2 player chise with that one.
well Bruce Bowen was my best playr, i was Heat and he was Wolves, we did a Fantasy Draft.

Me Heat team was: Duncan,B.Grant,B.Bowen,Pierce,Cassell
His was: Shaq,Garnett,Peja,E.Jones,T.Hardaway
he loved having big all-star player teams
1st Highlight:
The first one was the best, coz as i said he thinks he can dominate all the time with all-star teams.
Any way, he was up by 2 with about 14 seconds left.
I dumped it into Duncan, but he doubled him straight away with Shq and Kg, i passed to Pierce, he drove through the key, and dished out to Bowen, there was 3 secs left, so i faked a shot, and he fell for it, i shot it with a sec left................ITS GOOD!!
Bowen drains it from the corner.
He was so pissed lol

Anyway next game, i was playing Wizards, and again i was down by 2, anyway instead of driving and dishing, coz i only had 3 seconds, i just passed it into Bowen, from about 28-30 feet i unloaded a shot, and it was nothing but Net!!

Next game again he drained a clutch three and iwon, he was my best clutch player in 2001 lol,
his numbers for that year were only like 9.1ppg 5.3rpg 4.2spg though lol.

Anyway, he also tied up the finals at 3 games a piece, me and my friend both made the finals, but i nthe end his all star caliber team(who replaced jones with ray allen) got the best of me and i lost the championship :( lol

well there some of my best, mainly coz its all about bowen heehe

This is from Live 2004, and I was playing a Dynasty with the Rockets.

On one particular play (against Lakers), Yao and Eddie Griffin kept rejecting anybody that came their way, it was great.

First, they dump the ball to Shaq, who foolishly decides to shoot the ball, and so Yao blocks it. However, Shaq recovers the loose ball and dishes it to Kobe, who decides to run down the lane for a dunk. Yao's out of position, so I get Eddie and he blocks it from behind!

Then I finally get the D. Reb, but kobe steals it, and throws up a brick because of Yao, but the game made that blocking noise, and it recorded a block! hehe.

Kobe gets the ball back and this time tries to dunk it, and Yao blocks it again! I get the rebound and quickly throw an outlet pass so I don't get it stolen again.

So on one play, I had 4 blocks on a single posession.

i was the lakers playing against the spurs. it was game 5 of the conference semis. i have the lead and duncan hits a miraculous shot over shaq and malone from just below the 3 point line. and there was 0.4 seconds left on the clock.
then i called timeout and some more timeouts cuz i couldnt inbound the ball. then in the end, i couldnt find kobe open and fish just pops out of nowhere and then i got him the ball. he quickly releases it on a fadeaway over ginobili. my heart starts beating loudly ... and all of a sudden, it goes in at the buzzer!!! and this was the expression on my face :o

that shot by fisher gave me momentum to beat the spurs in game six

yeah i realize the chances of that happening are really slim. i'm really surprised with the quick reply.

ok ... here's really my best play in nba live 2004:

i was the bulls and it was like in the 3rd season of the dynasty mode.
it was the conference finals and game 7. I had traded for antawn jamison during the season. he was "third" string for the mavs ... believe it or not.
i was up against indiana ... they had swept me the year before. so there is five seconds left, bulls down by 2. jamison is at half court dribbling against artest. as the time winds down, he pulls the sweet crossover on artest and drains the three to win the series at the buzze! this propelled me to the nba finals where i defeated the mavs in game 7.

oh at last i'll post again at nlsc.

my best play is something you won't believe coz first i don't have a gif of the screenshot. it's from live 2004 and i was using the raptors then. carter was holding the ball at the three point line. then accidentally i tapped the dunk button, so he layed-up the ball from the 3(so vince threw it from the 3), hit the board and jalen came up in the air, catches the ball and slams it.

my best play i ever made is a block-buzzer beater from the left angle of my court.
3.2 seconds to the end, iverson shoot from the three point line i block and recover the ball in the angle of the court i jump and shoot falling out of bounds the buzzer sounds....the ball fly...and is good!!!the first quarter is finished...
Another fantastic play i made is a block on the glass... Duncan shoot from the baseline here comes Anthony and blocks it on the back board with a slam.oh my goodness :D

Another crazy play but marbury is when the Suns were down by 2(Needed 2 to tie, 3 to win) we got the inbound with 2.1 seconds left. he launched it for the other side of the court cuz he was being forced out of bound and we won the championship.

In my Pistons Dynasty (we're on 2008-09 now :D), I've won two consecutive games with a last second shot

the first against Dallas: down by one with 20 sec left, I managed to score an easy basket with 8 sec remaining. But in spite of hard Defense, Nowitzki scores a jump shot with 1.6 seconds left! Time out, I can't inbound the ball due to hard defense, another time out, I send directly the ball to Shaq (who is my decent backup center now :)) who scores an hard lay-up!

the second against the Hornets: this is exactly the same scheme, but this time it's Billups who hit a jump shot at the top of the key with less than 2 sec remaining!

This isnt really a play but its pretty dang good... Its was prolly a glitch in the game but i had the pacers bcuz of reggie miller since he was so good in like live 99' or so....i had rick smits standin out of bounds on the other end of the court and i tried to throw it all the way down court to reggie for a 3....he was under the goal and the ball went through the hoop...but it was 2 quarter so it didnt really matter
