I've confirmed if one of your players suffer an injury and he's cleared to play within the same game, the chances he'll be injured again are very high, even much higher if the player is lightly injured when back to the court.

So, if you have an injured player in the 1st qtr, don't put it back even if clearer; keep him until the next game or he'll probably be out for some time...

It's true,

I'm playing Dynasty with the Raptors and they are so injury prone. Granted the starting five play pretty much the whole game - fatigue is off - and injuries naturally occur. The funny thing is that when I played with an injured Vince (the bandaid is just a temporary injury and the red cross is a major injury) one game, he got bumped and then hurt his left knee and the next thing I knew, he was out for 9 days! Don't play your injured players too long in the same game... let them sit a little.

If a player is injured but can still play his stamina bar starts all the way down, wait until this fills up again if you don't want a player re-injured. I let Raef LaFrentz (traded Antonio Davis for him with Toronto) get completely energized and he played better when he came back.

I have not had much injuries in my games and if there is one it is mainly when they hurt their arm and come back in the 3rd quarter. the worst injury i have seen is on Lebron James when the hurt his ankle and was out for the rest of the game.
