Screen shots from Nba-live 2004 (PS2)

Discussion about NBA Live 2004.

To be honest, the difference between 97 and 91 is probably not that much in this version of Live. Kobe was like 96 last year and Vince was like 92 and I couldn't really tell the difference when the CPU used them or when playing versus. Unless athleticism and free throws play a big part in the rating system, I don't see why the gap would be that much tho... Although my guess is that maybe TD's ratings go up later in a season, thus reflecting his true playing style, as he tends to start seasons not at his best, and then finish strongly. If that's the case, I am really excited. Also notice he STILL won the MVP in the game....

I agree.
Last year, most starters had ratings over 75 and good teams would have 3,4 people over 80.

This year is little different. Ratings are more spread and guys like Lebron have below 70 and Nash has below 80 overall rating. With that said, the difference between 97 and 91 is looks even narrower.

Um...you do it the same way. Yes...it's equivalent to a 99...halfway between 98 and 99. I don't see what's so difficult about this...

hmm, well, with that method you got, no player can get lower than 75... :?

+ EA most surelly got a much much much more complicated way of calculating stats...

I think MIP selection has more to do with ratings rather than stats he posted.

i noticed that also

I can't figure what formula EA uses for the MIP award but the Rookie of the Year looked accurate.

It would've be cool if they showed the top 3 for each award. I'd like to see how far Carmelo and Darko were to Lebron but maybe I'm asking too much.

(closes eyes...takes a deep breath)

...let's say for instance...Rasho Nesterovic has a 6 rating (that's zero-6) in three-point shooting, which I'm pretty sure he does.

Six...Divided by 2...equals THREE...three plus 50 = 53. Is that lower than 75?

Clearly I'm in the presence of genius...

Sorry guys, because of the high demand to see those screenies I ran out of bandwidth.

I paid for more bandwidth for you guys to enjoy the screenies.

The site should be visible now.
