Does anyone know that if Kobe goes to jail and misses game, will they take him out of the game? Or just like put him on the injured list or something?

He'd probably just be placed on the injured list. But if Kobe did go to jail, it wouldn't happen until after the game is already out (the trial begins in October).

Yall know as soon as you get the game you are gonna choose LA just because you wanna win your first game. And since they have so much talent now your gonna wanna experiment with the new freestyle control.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but not everyone loves the Lakers. We're not all going to choose the Lakers, I can guarantee that.

I will use Rockets and try my best to trade Tim duncan to my team... the new Twin Tower

LeBron will also be good...but I think I won't let him stay in Cavs...perhaps I will use Raptors(with vince) or Magic(with T-Mac) and make trade :D

When I get a new NBA Live every year, I will make trade to have more fun...having a real roster is quite boring imo...

I fantasy draft almost all the time I start a franchise, but that gets old too. I'd probably take New York, Denver or maybe even Utah. I like having a little challenge in the game and going after a marqee free agent next summer is something exciting to look forward to.

New York would be fun to see if you could turn it around, and Denver is a sitting duck, just waiting to be noticed. Utah is in the middle of a rebuild phase that's been going on for the last 3-4 years now, but only now can they really start cause they got all that cap back because Stockton and Malone left.

Toronto Raptors

Mon Aug 18, 2003 9:09 pm

My Top 5:

Washington
Cleveland
Minnesota
Orlando
Denver

Mon Aug 18, 2003 9:28 pm

My top five

5.Cavs-i'd like to see how good Bron Bron will get when he is at his highest...and Z is a great center to have in the post..Ricky finish the play with spectacular jams....
4. Denver- Melo and Miller is definatly exciting...and Camby will be great in the post cuz he doesn't get injured in 2004  also i'd like to see how Nene and Tskikvili will become
3. Seattle- a lineup of Collison, Radmonivic, Lewis, Allen, Ridnour with Barry coming off the bench is always fun to play with...
2. Dallas- mostly i don't like to use talented team..with a slight exception..can kill ppl with offencesive fireworks...the addition of Jamision should help their inside offence and defence...Jiri Welsch and Fortson can be great sixth men...Welsch gives them another shooter and Fortson gives them rebounding which they badly need...the irony is that they have the one of the tallest player in the league with Bradley and they were ranked so horrible until Lafrentz came and made it little better....
1. Toronto-my favourite team...with VC leading the way is always fun to play with...great defence by Alvin Williams and Antonio Davis would help alot...offencesive player like Murray and Mo Pete can help with the threes and midrange despite Raps doesn't have the best shooting in the league...

kinda off-topic, but still related to this post. I think Ive seen a article from LA Times that Kobe Bryant may play the whole season out.

LMAO. Is that a joke? Welsch and Fortson can be great sixth men? Welsch has been good in this years summer league but he's not that good in the NBA. Last season he close to no confidence with his jumper and I don't see that changing next year. Fortson is a toxic player in the locker rooms. He's a bad attitude, injury-prone jerk. He can be a good rebounder but with his attitude, don't expect much out of him.

I was talking about real life, you're talking about a game. I wouldn't of brought attitudes in my post had I been talking about the game.

I reakon it ain't fun if you play with a Super awesome team for ur first franchise cause it isn't that fun...I'd go for a team which is in the middle or someting...but I guess that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it!

Well...for my first franchise I'd like to be Nuggets and trade for Yao and Tyronn Lue! I hope that EA fixes the system so that there are realistic trades where teams accept fair trades instead of trying to rip me off or get themselves ripped off! Also...will they fix that free agent problem where superstars can be signed fore minimum salaries cause that was real gay!

Yeah...hopefully my Nuggets franchise will feature Center,Yao, Power Forward, Kwame Brown, Small Forward, Melo, Shooting Guard, Lue and Point Guard Boykins... I wonder if that's possible...

What I look forward to is playing against the Lakers, Spurs and Mavs cause they have got awesome rosters. Lakers have Hall of Famers, Spurs got depth and Mavs are UNDERACIEVERS!

I know what you mean. Too many superstars and/or a ready made team can take the fun out of Franchise Mode.

This has always been a problem in EA games. You struggle at first, but then after a while you master the game and know what works and what doesn't. Then after that you can beat pretty much anyone with anyone and that is wrong.

If you play the Clippers, well you should struggle even if you play. Atleast against the best teams in the league. So playing all the games of a season might get you a title, but it also gets you the last draft pick which is useless atleast in 2003. And you never get to the rebuilding phase cause you really don't need to.

If you suck, well then you should suck... And loose some games inevitably... Some last second shot loosing has occured in 2003, but usually you can win any game with relative ease.
