PC sales are completely minor compared to the sales of consoles. A best selling game for the PC sells 500,000 copies, a best selling game for a console, at least double that, and that's why NCAA Football no longer comes out for PC, and the same goes for March Madness....honestly, we're probably lucky to HAVE Live for PC...remember Live 2002?

EA's a horrible publisher to work for....they cut Ritual when they decided Lord of the Rings wouldn't sell well enough for their tastes on PC, and Ritual's a top developer (although I am biased ;)). But I know second-hand what they're like to work for, and what their deadlines are, and they're really shitty. Most of the time the developers simpy run out of time, and I think that's the case for the Live team. The odds are that whoever's making Live is also making March Madness, so they may be understaffed because of budget or whatever reasons, and that's why a lot of things aren't made, like roster packs, bug fixes, and so on....

I'm just rambling now...in a nut shell, no, I don't feel disrespected by EA. I feel kinda bad for the developers, but they try their hardest....I'm sure EA reps, or at least members of the development teams, browse this forum for feedback and ideas. Like Andrew said, they probably don't post because they would get flamed horribly and flooded with demands by 12 year olds who don't understand the politics and finances of and resources it takes to make a good game....we're asking for a lot, you know. Hopefully we get half of what the NHL dynasty has, and hopefully the gameplay's improved....the team's working for us, whether you think so or not...graphics are downplayed, everything else is hyped....life is good. :)

*cough* anyways, I'll let you bored kids go. ;)

EDIT:

The relationship between EA and the community can definitely be improved...but I think perhaps the frustration vented at the NBA Live team is slightly misdirected. I suspect that the company policies at Electronic Art Inc. are the biggest obstacle that needs to be overcome...rather than the attitude of the NBA Live team.

That's what I'm saying. :) I missed that before...
