If I would do the socks blue, every team would have them! So that's absolutely imposible, because I only change the generic socks, that every team uses. You can import blue socks for each player of the Lakers!

I tried to fix the brigthness and thought a long time about it, but think I got the right one. When you start a game, they will be displayed more suitable to the generic EA shoes as the old ones. They only seem grey in the Player Edit Menu, but not when you play a game!

Anyway, it's worthwhile to keep them unless you haven't updated your shoes (every shoe is much more darker than the old EA shoes, as well as my socks). Even in case you didn't, just keep them. Because the generic EA socks look toooooo shiny and light!!!

If you want the old version, it's your problem (:cry:). Just read the insctructions how to uninstall them. Or do you mean just the white socks and not the black?

1. You have to look in your DBF Editor what socks you have for a certain player. Just look for the column "socks" (after the shoes column).
2. Remember this number. This number is linked to the "xplrdetails.viv" file, that you donwloaded from me.
3. Following numbers are linked to following textures:
   
   1. "0" is not possible.
   2. "1" stands for "v001" (white) and "v006" (balck) from the "xplrdetails.viv"
   3. "2" stands for "v002" and "v007".
   4. etc.
4. So if Kobe has "2", you just change "v002" and "v007" to the PURPLE one.
5. Then, unless you haven't got a accessories file for the player (xxxxxxx_acc.fsh), just create one
6. And now just add the socks (v002. and v007) to the player's accessories file.

If you want, I can do it for you, but I need some details: Your Lakers roster, the numbers from "socks" for each player, and tell me who has already an accessories file. If you download Tony's patches, you'll have the file in most cases. And I think, that Tony changed already the color in his Kobe Update. So I also need Tony's socks.

no ricky davis, i was just asking if u can make the update sock length patch, but instead of having it the grey color, can u make it a brighter white with the updated socks

so just use the sock length update u have right now, and just make the white color socks, the ea color, but keep the updated length

As I said, they only look grey with EA Graph, and in the player edit menu, but not ingame, even with EA's shoes. EA's socks are too shiny, don't you think so? And did you update your shoes? The lightness, I think, is the most suitablest for updated shoes (as the AND1 2Chi in my previews, by Steve). The white absolutely matches with the white from the shoes.

I'm very pleased that I could help you. Try to import the socks via EA Graph with Import Wizard. Just choose "Add files to an external TAR archive". If you need more help, just place a comment!

Fukk it, why do you call them grey? Why do you disregard everything what I say? They are better, much better , for updated shoes, such as Dahl's and Steve's. You don't see ANY textures on EA's, and OBVIOUSLY EA'S ARE TOO LIGHT!

But I will do it for you. But please see that I wrestled a long time with doing them a REAL LIFE WHITE WITH TEXTURES! So just switch sides and realize that my WHITE matches perfectly with UPDATED SHOES!
