put the files on C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 2004\render\xteam
need to do some dbf editing use db comander or dbf viewer
go to nba live 2004 folder in my documents open a save file / teamgear / and add a new line
change :deleted = false , id = Last+1 or higher ,team= 25,jersey type = 0,shpname=cl10 year=2004
acccolor=3 autocolor = 14343898 , shoe = 77,sock color = 0 neck type =1 name type=0 isunlocked=1

you need to give the last id number and a other name just like stcl05
or other , edit team gear dbf on one of your saves
