Men, look.
To avoid this mess, just put different numbers into ROSTERPOS column in Ur roster. 0 means the player will be playing Center, 1 is for PF, 2 if for SF, 4 is for SG, 5 is for PG, 6 to 11 will be subs and 12 to 14 are for reserves.
After this U just load your roster, go to Reorder Rosters screen and see that all Ur players are in Ur team on the tight positions without releasing, signig etc.
PS: In Live 07 reserves can be from 12 to 98

Step 3: You're almost finished.
Now enter the game and load up the roster you added your team into. if you go to the reorder roster screen your roster'll probably look really wierd and messsed up. To fix this simply sign then, if you want to, release that player. Now you can reorder your roster and do what ever you want with it. Save your roster and thats it. You've successfully created a custom team Shocked Have fun!

also, even if you do what he just said, then go to Reorder Rosters and its all asterixes except one or two random player and get the error message 'you must have at least seven players in your active roster'; all you have to do is back arrow out, go to Edit Player, and edit any thing on any player of that team and then the roster will work.
