This doesnt work for everyone but it does for me......
If your playing against a team who isnt good a 3 pt. shots, go into a 2-3 zone and be in control of your big man, always position him on ball side, never weak side, and if they throw it into the post then call for a double team, if they kick it back out do the same thing....good things are bound to happen!

hold the pass button. Usually the best plan is to take your fastest man and stand close to your PF around the perimeter. Then do the give and go and use the PF as a pick. When you get close to the basket, let go of the pass button and the ball will be passed back, and just dunk or layup. Timing is everything, so practice it a lot to really make this play deadly.
11: dont run around, use set plays
^ cant stress this enough. Here's a hint: if you have a team with a PF that shoots threes well (Walter Mccarty for the Celtics as an example) then look for the offensive play 'zone screens'. Swing it around the perimeter, and you will usually get a nice open shot for your power forward.
That might be true but I find when I play against another person that sometimes it's easy to run around until the defender loses you. A lot of times the defense on this game can be busted.

I have a question about the quick plays (I suppose it belongs to the topic about the strategies).
I perfectly understand default 4 quick plays - post up, isolation, 3PT and Pick'n'roll but the other ones? I have tried out some of them and they don't seem to work at all. I mean - from the visual scheme I get the idea how the ball should move, but if I call for that quick play, most of the times my man are placed totally wrong on the court and it seems that they have no idea about the combination
Any suggestions?
