Hey folks, just a lil' update I didn't want to confront Alex with... just made the "real-looking" black-white zoom generation shoe, for myself, which Bron wears. Alex didn't really figured it out perfectly (think he did it in a hurry) However, just wanna share it with u, for the peolpe who like to play with authentic shoes (like me :D )

Check it out:

:!: Image :!:

Just "save link as"... then u'll have it

streetmuzic wrote:can someone explain why I don't see a "CUSTOMART" folder in this zip? Directions say...1.Go to your Main NBA Live folder and open the folder /main/cscripts
2.open the file xstartup.cfg, scroll down and change "customart 0" to "customart 1"
3.Switch back to the Main NBA Live directory and open /render,now create a folder called "xplayer"
4.Place the "CUSTOMART" folder in this zip in that "xplayer" folder and rename the "CUSTOMART" folder to "lejames_"
5.Finished
#4 makes no sense to me? Whats the name of the file I should be looking for? This is all new to guys. Please help me. Alex's patch is soooooooo good.

there's a CUSTOMART folder...try doing this...
1.) Open Winzip and open [alex_lebron2k4].zip
2.) highlight everything and click EXTRACT
3.) under EXTRACT window, make sure that USE FOLDER NAMES has a check mark on it.
4.) extract the files to you NBA Live 2004 directory and you should see the CUSTOMART folder now.

Alex hasn't included the headbands, which u can see in the screens, in the patch. Think he just used them for his own use. :? I mean actually the white one can be chosen by dbf editing! The red one, is a self-made one by him, I think. The color is too red for EA's "sucking-out-washed" bands...
About the shoes: I don't know what's the matter with ur PCs? Have u installed the game complete? That means, NOT the typical installation! Otherwise, make sure u have turned customart from 0 to 1...
Can't help u more! Seems to be u 2 are the only ones... :o

good for u... I mean, is it too difficult, copying all the files into the folder render\xplayer\lejames :?: :? C'mon folks, why remodeling a bat file, while just doin' the easy copyin' step  , whatever...
