NBA Live 2004 review

Although it sounds good, it's very generic--any of us that's seen the screenshots and videos could've came up with the same review. The reviewer should of posted some screen shots atleast...not very reliable if you ask me.

But a good find nonetheless. :lol:

Not bad, not bad. This caught my eye though:

Blocks are nastier, too, and make for an equally attractive shutdown.

I don't think the blocks could get any nastier than they were in NBA Live 2003...hopefully we're still getting the realistic blocks.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the review was done by a staff on the site. It's the official site of ESPN so I don't think they would put up anything too unreliable.

Anyways.....

Wow, the highest rating on the site, and that's including Madden 2004. Oct. 14th just became so much further away for me after reading this. :cool:

It's coming out for PC. It's just an oversight (or maybe they only acknowledge the console versions).

lol..i knew soon as i seen the phoney review u gullible live lovers were gonna drool over it.....got some bad news for yall..its a fraud...im suprised alot of you even believed this review....for one...the game isnt finished and its clear they dont have a final copy.....ESPECIALLY when REAL review sites like gamespot and ign would have it before them....2nd...like dude said...anybody can write that review if they seen the movies and read previews....3rd...this is the same site that gave gameday 2004 a better score than espn football 2k4.........nuff said

...now lets settle down and wait for legit sites like gamespot and ign to review the game....REALLY review the game...which one be until october sometime....be easy

I'd say it's worth reading, given the link was also sent to me by a member of the Live production team. I don't see why an associate producer would send me the link of a fake review.

Now, this is a fairly low level insult, but it's not the first time you've posted demeaning comments towards NBA Live fans. i read espn.com alot and they always give a place for users to send in thier own comments on what they have posted. espn has been reviewing all sports games latly and they even have a poll going for the best video game athlete of all time. right now the poll is on basketball but they have already done football(bo jackson,super tecmo bowl, won),baseball(babe from baseball stars i believe), and hockey(jeremy roenick just barely beat out fat dude from ice hockey). here is a link if you want to vote

That Nkredible kid is the same guy from OS always bashing Live. Yes we know you'll be getting ESPN 2k4-ok happy--bottom line--you don't add anything intelligent to our threads so go with ur other buttbuddies at OS in the ESPN 2k4 forum.

it's so funny how all these 2k4 fans are reacting to this review, there all giving excuses why this reviewer liked Live or how phony this review is etc... Just accept it and move on. I'm sure if 2k4 got a better review they'd put it all in our faces.

If you go to that website, it has two sections..."Our Reviews"(The reviewers on that site) and "Your Reviews"(where fans review a game)

This review is under "Our Reviews" and was written by one of their editors, I don't know why he would write a phony review. It is NOT a fan review.

im in no way a fanboy....think so...then how come i was all for live 2003 last year..than after a month of playin....i converted to 2k3...check my history....i root for the game that looks to be the best or is the best....dont give me that stuff man....we all know everybody wants live to be the best game eva...i did too...but why am i the only one that can accept the negative things? I speak on what i see thats negative...i get bashed for it....thats funny to me...i dont get it.

Oh...another thing..if im such a fanboy..check my post history HERE and u can see when the first info of live was commin out...i was one of its biggest rooters...so how do you explain that? And do you have a logical reason to believin that this review is NOT phoney? I do....they dont speak on ALOT of features that are in the game....the games are 3-5 weeks away from launch...at the bottom it says the reviewers arent affilatied with the site.....now what are YOUR reasons to believing its legit?
